Horse Bazaar is an art space and bar in Melbourne tailored to people involved and interested in innovative digital media. It is a unique environment combining striking decor, a fully serviced bar, cafe and a sophisticated content delivery system. Developed by individuals committed to the support of Melbourne's emerging digital culture Horse Bazaar blends lounge and exhibition space to produce a unique environment for the display and enjoyment of digital arts.

The central feature of Horse Bazaar is a 270 degree immersive video projection space. By tiling 6 projectors together we achieve over 25 square metres of continuous projection. Patrons can relax and enjoy a drink and a light meal while being surrounded the latest work from Melbourne’s emerging digital artists. Original in concept this combination of exhibition space and bar offers the perfect setting for digital artists to showcase their work without the constraints of a formal gallery.

Horse Bazaar’s AV infrastructure and ambience means we are ideally suited for film screenings, exhibitions, album launches, media briefings, product launches, seminars, networking events, listening parties, or aprez parties associated with the many cultural events and film premieres that dot Melbourne's rich cultural calendar.

Horse Bazaar personnel have many years of experience in corporate events and multimedia production. We have brought this experience to bear in the development of the bar's audio-visual system. This system, designed to be flexible and fully featured, can be adapted for any number of different purposes. Inputs can be from any source including PC's, laptops, DVD players or digital cameras.
