Cellula
Cellula will perform live at the Horse Bazaar Thursday 25 May to launch their anticipated follow up album 'Cyto'.
This second release rides an up-tempo listening beats flavour with more emphasis on integrating live instruments into the sensory mix. The tunes are uniquely Cellula, typically fruity albeit with nods to the winter-beats school of electro groove (Tosca, G-Stone, Switchstance Recordings etc).
Cellula consists of producers O1 (aka Owen Rowe) and Cameron Saunders. Both are long time bass players and instrumentalists. Alongside the development of Cellula’s swirling soundscapes, the O1 (hailing originally from New Zealand) has also produced compositions for Melbourne dance performance and visual art installations. Cameron brings a live approach and fresh vibe to the studio to enhance Cellula’s electro funk underpinnings.
